Answers to clues will be found on blue plaques, statues, other information plaques and in architectural features but you'll need your team to complete the bonus challenges!

Treasure hunts are an ideal way to give your brain and legs a work out while meeting new people and discovering more of London along the way.

How it works

We will be meeting outside Amba Hotel Charing Cross where you will be randomly divided into teams of 4 people (yes, you can select your own team members).

Each team will receive their treasure hunt pack including written cryptic clues which you have to find the answers for. It's up to your team to work together to find the answers. You can answer them in any order. A map of the area will also be provided. It's not a race and no lycra is needed so you can take your time getting to know the area.

The team to get the most correct answers and then return to base (a local pub) will win prizes.

Before the Treasure Hunt:

We meet just the Amba Hotel, Charing Cross Station, Strand, London WC2N 5HX where will be kicking the whole thing off. Charing Cross (Northern Line, Bakerloo, National Rail). Teams of four will be constructed and registered before setting off. Our staff will be wearing high vis jackets and a smile.

To return your answers:

We meet at the designated family friendly pubafter 2 hours where we will be marking the scores, announcing the winning team and presenting prizes. Pub details to be provided in your treasure pack on the day.
