Susan's Great Fire of London Walk Reviews
A tour full of amazing sights and facts about the Great Fire of London and a few other things we passed by. I never knew there was a 'London Stone' or the lovely small gold statue at the end of our walk. Very entertaining and thankfully decent winter weather too. Sarah & Tony
Fascinating walk around the area and sights of where the great fire took place. Susan the guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. Showed us some things that we would have walked past without looking! I've been on several walks with this company and all have been very good. 90 minutes went quickly but afterwards you can retrace your steps and see more or take more time yourself. Monument to the fire has 311 steps (not part of the walk) and open on Sunday so maybe come early and do this first or last. The walk is fairly brisk in order to see as much as possible but someone had a child in a buggy and it was easily done. Ali C
Amazing walk,really interesting.Susan was lovely. Lourdes G
Interesting walk with chance to see some historic buildings from the outside.Guide was knowledgeable. Sometimes sound wasn't loud enough but better when we could stand away from traffic. A Lewis
Enjoyable and informative walk. Knowledgeable and considerate guide. Well organised. Was definitely worth doing. J Forshaw
I thought I knew quite a lot about the Fire of London but our guide gave us some new insights into the fire, particularly the aftermath of the fire and its effect on building regulations. An enjoyable guided walk. M Pinn
A very enjoyable and educational walk on a sunny winter's afternoon. Lots of fascinating facts delivered articulately. I would have liked to hear more of Pepys's account, no mention of the buried Parmesan cheese, but maybe this would have furnished a longer tour. The tour group themselves added much to the walk being interested, chatty and knowledgeable. More tours please! We enjoy them very much. J Knight
