Private Historic London Pub Tours

Boutique groups, professional guides and a sprinkling of quirky history reveals a London not easily found elsewhere.

It's only natural that you would have a few questions. Here are the ones we have been asked before:

How many people can come on private historic pub tour?

Due to the nature of the tour we limit groups up to and including 6 people. Additional guides available for additional groups.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes please. You can book a private historic pub tour up to 18 hours before the start time.

Where do we meet?

Historic Pub Tour: Covent Garden meets at Charing Cross Station

Historic Pub Tour: Wapping meets at Tower Hill Tube Station exit

Don't worry, all the information plus a map will be provided in your booking confirmation email.

Where do we end?

Historic Pub Tour: Wapping ends in Wapping

Is there an age limit?

We do recommend all those in the group are 18+ years. Those lucky enough to look under 25 years of age are requested to bring photo ID with them.

Should we tip the guide?

Even though tips are not expected they are always appreciated.

Are drinks included?

No, drinks are not included. We suggest you budget £2.50 for a half-pint, per person, per pub.

What if I don't drink alcohol?

Not a problem at all. The drinking a very small part of the tour. Each pub we visit offers a selection of non-alcoholic drinks.

I'm gluten intolerant, is there a beer for suitable for me?

Yes absolutely, all the pubs we visit stock Peroni Gluten-free beer.

How many pubs do we visit?

Well that depends on the pub tour location and group. For wapping we aim to visit 4 historicpubs and for our Covent Garden pub tour we aim to visit 6 historicpubs.

Can we eat on the tour?

Bar snacks are available if you get the munchies. Unfortunately there's no time for a sit down meal on the tour but that doesn't mean you can't have a meal in one of the pubs at the end of the tour!

What if it rains?

Bring an umbrella and you won't get wet. They are also useful for strong summer sun too. Oh, and it doesn't rain in the pubs!

What if we are late?

You have booked for 90 minutesour time.

Are your historic pub tours wheelchair accessible?

Unfortunately given the nature of these historic pubs we cannot guarantee the pubs are accessible for wheelchairs. The walk from each pub is wheelchair accessible.
