Greenwich Treasure Hunt

Pit your wits against our cunning clues as you race against time in the place where time begins. Give your brain a workout, follow our challenging clues around the historic area of Greenwich. 

This is a Covid-secure Greenwich treasure hunt. It's a fun mixture of crafty cryptic clues, strategy and teamwork. Each team will set off at a designated time ensuring the minimal chance of teams being at the same clue at the same time. 

Treasure hunts are an ideal way to give your brain and legs a work-out while discovering more of Greenwich along the way.  Get to know Greenwich a little better; its myriad backstreets, large variety of green spaces and nautical history are but a sample of what you will discover while hunting for the answers.

Answers to clues will be found on blue plaques, statues, other information plaques and in architectural features but you'll need your team to complete the bonus challenges!

How it Works

Collect your treasure hunt pack from the Greenwich Information Centre.  

Your treasure hunt pack includes written cryptic clues which you have to find the answers for. It's up to your team to work together to find the answers. You can answer them in any order. A map of the area will also be provided.

It's not a race. We expect all teams to have completed all clues within 2hrs.

Each team will join the Greenwich Treasure Hunt leaderboard which shows the highest combined scores of clues and team challenges.

On the Day
- Receive map and answer and question sheet
- Submit all 4 team photos to your treasure hunt host on 07545 020406
- Enter your answers in the online form provided on the day

After the Event
- You'll receive your marks and full scorecard
