A Victorian Christmas guided walk in London

A Victorian Christmas Walk Reviews

This was my second walk with Hazel and just like the last, it was a pleasure. Hazel's friendly, sunny personality makes her a great guide. She knew several regulars in the group but also quickly learned the names of other people, along with our favourite things about Christmas. 90 minutes was the ideal length for a Christmas walk: plenty of interesting facts about trees, Christmas cards, carols and humbugs (including a free humbug for all of us) but not so long that we got cold. Lots of fun. M. Major

I love Hazel's walks! Lovely for me to be able to attend with my baby in his pram too. The walk was both informative and fun at a reasonable pace, opening my eyes to places I had never spotted before. Great stories and a friendly atmosphere. H Morgan

We have done a few walks with various guides and Hazel is one of the best. Always learn something new from her and have a lot of fun too. She is so enthusiastic and takes you along with her humour and laughter. L Winder

Lots of fun wandering around St Paul's and Fleet Street, ending by the Somerset House Skating Rink. Hazel is such a warm and friendly person - the perfect guide. I'd recommend all her walks. M Taylor

An interesting walk and talk from St. Pauls to Somerset House, themed around historic Christmases. The guide was knowledgeable, humorous and had plenty of things to tell us. I ended up walking in places that I had never been in an area that I thought that I knew well and learnt a few things along the way. The only thing about it that I would change would have been to make it a bit longer to possibly see a bit more. Having said that this makes it an ideal length for those less physically able. Colin D

This was my second walk with Hazel and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There was quite a good group of us and we also had a baby who was as good as gold. The weather was also on our side as the evening was quite a good one to stroll around the Victorian part of the City. Hazel is a very interesting guide and knows lots of facts. I am already looking forward to my next one in the New Year. It's definitely a great way to discover London, even the parts I already knew. Laura B

Another great walk! This was my second walk with Hazel and again it was both fascinating and fun. As
before my baby in his pram joined in and loved the buzz of the friendly group. I shall definitely be back,
thanks Hazel! Helen M
