Out now in hardback, eBook and audio (Zaffre). London, 1938. This Christmas, you are cordially invited to the wedding of the year! Household name and all-round entertainer Anton Du Beke is one of the most instantly recognisable dancers today, best known for his role on the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, which he has featured on since its conception in 2004. But Anton is also a Sunday Times bestselling novelist. This winter join him for a festive celebration of his new book A Christmas to Remember – Anton’s third novel, set in the exclusive Buckingham Hotel. As the Christmas season approaches, life at the exclusive hotel is busier than ever, with guests arriving from around the world, seeking comfort, relaxation and refuge as tensions build across Europe and it looks like another war is imminent. As the band strikes up in the Grand Ballroom to celebrate the nuptials of debonair demonstration dancer Raymond and chambermaid Nancy, one thing is certain – this will be a Christmas to remember. Spend an afternoon with one of Britain’s best-loved dancers, as he shares the inspiration behind his hit novel series, and brings all the wit, charm and style he's famous for to this very special online event. The ‘Stream and Book’ package includes a unique ticket for the stream, and a SIGNED copy of A Christmas To Remember (RRP £18.99). The standard ‘stream’ package consists of a unique ticket for the stream only. The event will initially be broadcast on 13 December at 15:00 UK time. It will be available to view up to a week after the event has ended and can be accessed worldwide.

What: THE THRONE ROOM
Where: Online Cost: Free Link: https://www.rct.uk/visit/the-state-rooms-buckingham-palace/highlights-of-buckingham-palace?dm_i=4SVR%2CFCVY%2CU6V18%2C1SY96%2C1#/#throneroom The Throne Room's dramatic arch and canopy over the thrones was the masterpiece of the architect John Nash, and was greatly influenced by his background in theatre set designs. Central to the room is the pair of throne chairs which are known as Chairs of Estate, and were used for the coronation ceremony of The Queen in 1953. There are also chairs made for the coronation of King George VI, and a single throne chair made for Queen Victoria in 1837. The chair embroidered with 'EIIR' was used by The Queen at the beginning of the Coronation, up until the point that she was crowned. After the crowning ceremony she sat in the Throne Chair, which is on display in the Garter Throne Room at Windsor Castle.
