Opening hours: We are opening Friday to Sunday from 10am until 5pm with staggered entry at 15 minute intervals. Please note, it is essential to book tickets online in advance. Last admission into the historic house is at 4pm. Please note, the shop closes at 5pm.

The Old Operating Theatre Museum
What & When: We’re ready to welcome you back from the 25th of July, and every Saturday and Sunday during the Summer from 10:30 am till 5:00 pm.
This is what you can expect when you come to the museum:
- A whole new range of safe social distance programming and hygiene protocols in place.
- Timed entries and a scheduled, staff controlled route means your group will remain safely socially distanced from others during your visit. The visit will last 45 minutes.
- A whole new contactless trail throughout the Museum will allow you to engage with everything using your own smartphone. For your convenience we have installed WIFI in the museum that you will be able to access for FREE!
- Included in your ticket price to the Museum is a brand NEW London Bridge Local History Map as well as a fun Old Op Quiz to complete at home.
These temporary measures are there to ensure the safety of our staff, your safety and your enjoyment of the Museum during these difficult times.

What & when: They are reopening on Thursday 6 August!
That’s right, we’re back from next month. We can’t wait to open our doors, so you can once again discover the greatest stories from the greatest city.
There are some new measures in place that you need to be aware of, which we’ve brought in to ensure a safe and enjoyable visitor experience for everyone. There’s loads more information about changes we’ve made on our safety measures page and if you can’t visit straight away, don’t worry! There’s still plenty of fascinating digital content to find on our website about London through the ages. We look forward to seeing you very soon!
Price: You now need to book a free ticket to visit us for a chosen time slot
Opening times: Their opening times have changed on weekdays. They are open from 11.30am-3.30pm, Monday-Friday and 10am-6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Note: They need to start clearing the galleries 20 minutes before closing time.
