What: Architecture for Dogs
Bringing dogs to the exhibition It is quite unusual for dogs to be allowed into a gallery, so we have put in place the following rules to ensure everyone’s enjoyment of the exhibition.
Featuring a collection of architectural designs for dogs by world-class architects and designers, the internationally acclaimed Architecture for Dogs makes its European debut at Japan House London from 19 September with the addition of a brand new piece by eminent UK architect, Asif Khan. Far from being just an exhibition, this open source network allows guests to become designers and makers themselves, with blueprints available for download and opportunities to design one's own architecture for dogs. A series of virtual experiences is also on offer, including a 3D Tour (available later in the autumn), online talks and ‘live’ guided tours.
The specially made architectural pieces are designed with a different dog breed in mind, including the Beagle, Bichon Frise, Shiba Inu, Boston Terrier and Poodle.

What: Japanese Tea Tasting Event
A Japanese tea room in London. Japanese style and ceremony infused with hints of English tradition, simultaneously exotic and familiar. Katsute100 grew organically in this beautiful historic building, antique Japanese furniture and elegant early 20th aesthetics harmonising perfectly to create a cosy contemplative space with a unique atmosphere.
The word Katsute represents nostalgia, history, moments in time... ‘Once’. Step into a space where time moves more slowly, and each mouthful of our exquisite teas and home-made cakes can be experienced without the distractions of our bustling city. An oasis of Zen calm.
Let our expert staff guide you through a tasting session featuring five premium Japanese tea varieties (four leaf teas plus matcha) accompanied by home-baked sweet treats which perfectly complement their flavours
