What: Talk and draw - The National Gallery
Join an artist and lecturer to explore a painting in two different ways.
Led by Ed Dickenson and Bethan Durie, this week we look at Van Gogh's Long Grass with Butterflies. Please bring along coloured pencils.
First, listen to a brief talk then respond by making your own work in this short, artist-led drawing session. Please have to hand a sharp pencil, paper, rubber and a drink of your choice to kick-start the weekend.
The session will take place online, via Zoom, and will last about an hour.
Sometimes we might suggest using different drawing or craft materials so, if you are able to, keep a pencil case of different colours, a ruler and a pair of scissors nearby, as well as anything else you might like to experiment with.
Cost: Free
When: Friday, 25 September 2020, 4 - 5 pm BST
