What: Midnight Apothecary Voted one of London’s best outdoor pop-up cocktail bars since 2012, we specialise in lovingly prepared seasonal botanical cocktails made by Midnight Apothecary founder Lottie Muir AKA The Cocktail Gardener. We built the garden in 2012 as an oasis where we invite you to cuddle up, watch the sunset surrounded by your friends, lovers and local wildlife. We use ingredients grown in our rooftop garden or foraged close by. The menu changes frequently based on what's in season. Our candle-lit rooftop oasis is situated at the Brunel Museum above Brunel's historic Thames Tunnel. Every Friday and Saturday night we offer several guided tours into the underground Grand Entrance Hall of the Thames Tunnel, one of the city's great engineering masterpieces. All the proceeds from our tickets goes to the Brunel Museum. We source all our alcohol carefully using local brews and spirits where possible e.g. Jensen's gin, Hiver Honey Beer, Anspach & Hobday and Kernel Brewery. This summer we will also be open Thursdays (Piazza only) and Sunday afternoons (rooftop only) with no tours. From 31 July we are back! Fridays and Saturdays will be almost like the good old days with 2 hour slots entitling you to entry to the roof garden (up to 6 people per booking) to a maximum of 30 people on the roof and (socially distanced) guided tours of the underground chamber. All proceeds from the £7 entry fee will be going to the Brunel Museum. Thursdays and Sundays will be free but ticketed 2 hour affairs with entry to either the Piazza (Thursdays) or the roof garden (Sunday afternoons). The Piazza will be open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (free entry but ticketed) for 2 hour slots. If you want to hire the whole roof garden exclusively for private parties of up to 30 people, we have packages available. We will have table service (with a table ordering app), one-way signage, plenty of hand sanitiser everywhere and everything in place to welcome you back and keep you safe.
