The Barbican Centre Art Gallery and Conservatory are now open.
The Art Gallery will welcome visitors back with Masculinities: Liberation through Photography, a photography and film exhibit that explores the ways in which masculinity is experienced, performed, coded and socially constructed.

In line with government guidelines, new safety measures will be in place and tickets will need to be booked online.

Visit the second biggest Conservatory in London and explore our hidden tropical oasis.
For the first time, the Conservatory is open seven days a week throughout the summer, offering a unique place to relax amongst tropical plants and trees (and concrete, of course).
As well as three ponds, the Conservatory houses more than 1,500 species of plants and trees. This includes a vibrant mix of species ranging from the deserts of South Africa to the coastline of Brazil. The ponds are home to koi, ghost, and grass carp from Japan and America, with another pool providing a safe haven for terrapins.
So all visitors can enjoy the unique beauty and atmosphere of our Conservatory safely, we've removed seating and ask that people avoid activities like sketching, picnicking and photoshoots and follow the one way system while they’re here. We recommend you allow 20 minutes for your visit.

Opening times: Mon-Fri 11am-7pm and Weekends 10am-7pm

During the photo tour, Alastair will set photography challenges, nurture your photographic eye and help you develop a better understanding of what makes a great photo. You will receive insider tips on great spots for photographing some of London's most iconic landmarks.

At the end of the 2 hour tour you will have gained a collection of photos you will feel proud of and having gained insight as to how to improve your smartphone photography.
