We are really quite spoilt for choice when it comes to quality ice cream in London.
Now the weather is warming up a bit I have been asked after our
A Nosey Around Soho walking tour where to get good ice cream in Soho. Snowflake Gelato is my first response. It's hand made daily in store using natural ingredients, organic Jersey milk and cream and is suitable for vegetarians.
Snowflake Gelato flavours include: Almond, Amarena, Amaretto, Banana, Biscotto, Caramel, Chocolate, Cinnamon, Coconut, Coffee, Crème brulée, Cuoricino, Date and honey, Fior di Latte, Hazelnut, Honeycomb crunch, Mint and chocolate, Peach, Pistachio, Praline, Sea salted caramel, Snowflake, Stem ginger, Stracciatella, Strawberry cheesecake, Strawberry, Vanilla and White chocolate.
My favourite combinations are: Dark Chocolate and Snowflake, Praline and Pistachio and also Almond and Hazelnut. There aren't many places that I know of in central London which serve almond ice cream.
For those requiring guilt-free, dairy-free or gluten-free ice cream in central London then Snowflake doesn't disappoint. Natural ingredients including fresh fruits are used in making these. They are also fat-free with no added sugar.
Snowflake's guilt-free range is guaranteed to be full of delicious flavour - a treat to be enjoyed by everyone!
Flavours include:
- Apple
- Apple and elderflower
- Banana
- Lychee
- Orange
- Papaya
- Peach
- Pear
- Pomegranate
Soho Snowflake can be found at 102 Wardour Street, London W1F 0TP. If you are more further west then perhaps their Westbourne Grove store (43 Westbourne Grove, London W2 4UA) would be preferable.
