Jack the Ripper has remained a mystery for the past 132 years. That is not to say that numerous (too numerous to calculate) attempts have not been made to identify this most famous serial killer. Practically every year a new book and a new theory emerges and is pored over by Ripper enthusiasts in the hope that this is the theory that will finally nail him. But to no avail!
However, after reading five or six theories you come to realise that every book is slightly different in their view of how many victims, what the possible motive could be, whether he had medical knowledge and if he was a doctor/surgeon. When you think about these killings you come to realise that he must have had some anatomical knowledge, as being able to extract organs on the street by gas-light is surely beyond the capabilities of someone who has no knowledge of the layout of the internal organs. Especially as he took the womb out on three occasions and took it away with him on two of these. He also managed to remove Catherine Eddowes' left kidney from the front, when the easiest way is from the back.
Ponder these facts and think of the most likely type of suspect taking in the locality, type of people here, type of businesses and you can come to a reasonable conclusion. Who? Well, you will just have to come on my tour to find out.
