Come and celebrate the best of English culture at the Feast of St George, 20 April 2019

If you want to see me in a Victorian bonnet, now is the time! I am very proud to announce I will be partaking in the festivities by providing three Dragon Quests where wanna be knights hunt down the name of our St George's dragon with Edith Baker (me) and Julius Drake and three 20 minute talks on St George MythBusters.

St. George MythBusters 12.15pm, 2.45pm and 4.15pm
Come and hear more about the myth of St George in the Dance & Storytelling Tent. If you’re unable to make it, come and celebrate St George's Day 23 April, 7pm with our Dragon walk.BOOK NOW

Dragon Quest - 1pm, 3pm and 5pm

Calling all wannabe knights! Your quest, should you choose to accept it, is to find out the name of our St George’s Dragon.

Pick up a free Quest Sheet from the Knight’s Training Camp, the Dance & Storytelling Tent or the Information Tent. Quests can be taken on individually or as part of group. 

Group Meeting Point on the North Terrace. You will be met by Dragon Experts Edith Baker (me) and Julius Drake who will take you on your adventure. Follow the flag and don’t stray off!

Time: 12 noon - 6pm

Venue: Trafalgar Square, Westminster, London, WC2N 5DN, United Kingdom

Cost: FREE, no tickets required


Trafalgar Square will be filled with the very best of English music, food and culture. There will be entertainment on the main stage featuring West End Musical Choir and special appearances from London’s world-famous Pearly Kings and Queens.

Fans of English sitcom ‘Only Fools and Horses’ can see a life-size replica of Del-Boy’s yellow Robin Reliant. Sci-fi fans will be able to experience Dr Who’s Tardis.


What else to expect on the day:

  • A great line up on the main stage of traditional and contemporary acts
  • An array of dance and storytelling sessions
  • 5 x 40 minute comedy shows in the comedy tent
  • Handmade in England art and craft area
  • Walkabout performances
  • Tasty array of food stalls
  • The Tardis and Only Fools and Horses robin reliant activations
  • Knights Training Camp art and craft area, face painting
  • Dragon’s nest and baby dragons
  • The Dragon’s Quest
